Current Music: Phantom of the Opera Soundtrack - Music of the Night
Work kinda sucked at first today. But it got better. Darryll showed up at about 8:15 but I was really busy with drive through so I couldn't really talk to him. At about 8:30 I asked if I could take my break and get some food since I never got a break earlier. The manager said I could go ahead and clock out for good for the night. Darryll was still there and sat down and talked with me while I ate dinner. He looked different in normal clothes (I was used to seeing him in his Arby's uniform) but I suppose it was my turn to see him in normal clothes since a couple nights ago I visited Arby's while he was on and he got to see my....interesting wardrobe, he liked my arm thingys that I wore that night though. I thought it was funny that he said I made him feel old. The conversation went something like this: Me: "Its a teenager thing you wouldn't get" Darryll: ...I used to be a teenager...I graduated in 99 Me: Oooo, I finished 5th grade in 99 Darryll: ....damn you make me feel old. Me: How old are you? Darryll: 24... Me: Really? I thought you were like 26 or 27. Darryll: I'm not too far away from it. Me: lol Well, I'll be 17 in August so don't feel too bad. Darryll: Haha, I'm having my mid-life crisis at 24 which I guess would be right since I don't expect to live to 40 anyway. Then after that he started talking about the car accidents he's been in and w/e. He says he's gonna talk to the head manager on Thursday to get me on night shift with him more often which is good considering I'd rather be asleep at noon than at work. That way Darryll can have his favorites on while he's on (me, Brian, and some other person). Oh, Betsy, I'm gonna talk to Darryll about when we get another opening and I'll suggest you (Darryll's one of the managers so his word is more important than mine). I'll make sure to get you an application soon. Remind me later cause I'll prolly forget. ^.^;;; Peace. |
